Merit students to be awarded by Sr. Adv. Vivek K. Tankha today

Senior Advocate and Member of Parliament Vivek K Tankha will be awarding merit students today.

Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu being the Chief Guest, the event will be organized in Bemtara, Chattisgarh at 11 AM on December 31.

A charity flight is also to be for the special children in collaboration with Flybig by Justice Tankha Memorial Rotary Institute for Special Children and Rotary Club of Jabalpur. The event will also be attended by Flybig CMD Sanjay N Mandavia.

The Bombay High Court issued notice on a Public Interest litigation (PIL) filed inviting attention of the High Court to the side effects and consequences of online gaming. The petitioner, a lawyer  seeks regulation of such activities by the concerned respondents. A copy of the Tamilnadu Pohibition of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Act, 2022 is placed on record.  From the preamble to the said Act , the Bench noted that on the basis of surveys conducted, various effects of online gaming on school students were noticed requiring such steps to be taken by the said State Government.   The Nagpur Division Bench of Justice AS Chandurkar and Justice Vrushali V.
